Glenn: This question has two answers.
The first answer is what ever time that you can commit to on an ongoing basis. Some people can workout in the afternoon or evening and have plenty of energy to have a great workout, while others are just too tired and have to do it at an earlier time.
The second answer is based on scientific studies that indicate that fat is burned up to 300-percent faster when you exercise in the morning as opposed to doing the same exercise in the afternoon.
Remember, when you are just starting out, it is hard at times so make sure that you stick with it, it will get easier, I promise. So stay in tune with your body listen to what it tells you, focus on making exercise a habit.
